I think I have tried every Mac based web design app. This is certainly one of the most interesting and seems both simple & powerful. Right now I either use Dreamweaver or Freeway Pro.

Sorry but I had trouble following the screencast as it was very fast and I could not really see what was going on because of the darkened areas every time you did something - there was just too much going on to follow - at least for me.

I will persevere though and see how I do. Do you have any PDF tutorials?

Even for somebody that already sort of knows Flux 1, the screencast is very fast. It did give an enormous amount of how to do things, but I would suggest to add some further screen casts in smaller doses (and put them in iTunes to download as a podcast).
Flux 1 was hard to use, Flux 2 is a joy to use. The only requirement now is that you need to know your css and html.

Hi!

We certainly intend to add more screencasts, but they're surprisingly time consuming!

Cheers!

looks like an intriguing app. I'd love to see that screencast through, but there is a terrible sub-bass clunk that really, really off-putting. Particularly with a subwoofer. Beyond that, I'd echo the earlier commentors - the darkness of the tint makes it literally impossible to see what is really going on. SO I'm none the wiser, and I'm no slouch css wise. AND yes its just too long - broken down into sections is much more digestable. Sorry.

Hey Guys.

I can't seem to get onto your forums, server keeps dropping the connection?

Either way, I really like the tool so far. It's improving my daily workflow already. I want to get more development information so I can tailor this to my studios needs.

I am interested in writing plugins/extensions that deal with wordpress and maybe another open source ecommerce platform. This would be god-like.

Imagine finishing a client blog theme before you break for lunch? Amazing.

Hi! I've not experienced any issues with our forum at all, very strange, let me know if this continues happening.

Cheers!

Sorry to rain on your parade but I, too, found the screencast unhelpful because of the way areas of the screen are blacked out. Also, please do something about the sound. The speaker is much too near the mike and it is truly distracting and annoying. However, love the app!

Concur about the screencast. It's terrible - Can't understand parts of it (tell the person doing the VO to not swallow the mic) and it's too fast. I skipped through it because I was interested in doing things like a RoR project, but didn't look like that was covered. Is there any sort of manual? I'm sure the application is wonderful, but I'm not sure why.

When it comes to the poping/bumping sound, it is easilly fixed the next time around. You do not need to make the the distance to the microphone further, even if that heps, but you need to place it more to the side or above the mouth of the speaker, well away from the "wind"/breath that causes the pops.
(A wind screen or pop screen might also help.)

All the best, Roger Jonsson, Sweden.
(Making microphones for a living...)

Ps. A way to reduce the bumps already recorded is to highpass filter the audio below 100-150Hz. It is ideal, but better than nothing.

I too find the blackening of the screen quite disturbing. Making it hard to follow what is going on.
If you gave the screencast a little higher resolution, and made the computer screen resolution smaller while recording, then you wouldn't need the magnifying glass at all! That would make the good tutorial great!
